Parameters including: distance (both bow and stern), approach speed and approach angle of the ship, can be displayed on the computer located in the control room (installed with monitoring software), as well as on the large LED screen located at the wharf. In addition, this LED screen can display other important parameters such as wind speed, current, wave conditions and other data necessary to ensure safe anchoring.
Main features
The software is installed on the computer to monitor the approach of the ship during the berthing operation. The software provides:
- Continuous real-time data on the approach speed of the bow and stern
- Continuous real-time data on the distance of the bow and stern to the berth
- Continuous real-time data on the angle of approach of the ship to the berth
- Signal lights indicating safe/unsafe speed
- Speed trends
- Estimated time of contact with the wharf cushion
- Playback screen to replay the berthing operations saved in the database
- Reports can be generated to view/check relevant information about previous berthing operations
- Data (system, vessel and mooring information) can be exported and imported into the system
- Integrated hardware diagnostic tools to diagnose equipment status quickly and easily.
