The Tron AIS-SART stands out for its unique combination of compact size and powerful technical capabilities. Housed in the same casing as the Jotron Tron SART20 radar-SART (just 251mm tall and 450g), the AIS-SART uses an internal GPS antenna to determine its position, which it then transmits along with a unique ID code via international AIS channels. This GMDSS "Wheel Marked" device meets the latest EU directives and, like the Tron SART20, is an approved SOLAS search and rescue locating device, offering ship owners flexibility in meeting regulations.
