The engine room simulator is extremely flexible and can be configured from a desktop to a full mission simulation using the console.
The simulator can be used to conduct IMO Model Courses 2.07 and 7.04. It can also demonstrate the STCW 2010 competency requirements with the 2012 amendments. Engine models available include: MAN B&W 6560MC (tanker); WARTSILA 6RTA62UB (container); MAN B&W 6L48/60B (cargo); MTU DIESEL 16V1163TC 93 (navy); CATERPILLAR MAK 9M32C (offshore support and supply vessel); MAN B&W 6580ME-C9 (oil tanker) and a range of diesel power systems.
